Nest hub wont turn on

My google nest hub max just quit working it will not turn on and ive tried everything seems like please help ive only had it for 2 months

I have the same issue but mine is 19 months old. Google has been TERRIBLE about trying to trouble shoot and told me it is out of warranty and I am on my own.  My advice is insist on a NEW unit. You are under the one year warranty

Sorry to hear about your experiences with your Google Nest displays. If your devices won't turn on, let's go ahead and check these things first:

 

  • Is the speaker or display plugged directly into a wall outlet or surge protector?
    • The outlet or the surge protector may be faulty.
  • When the speaker or display is plugged into the wall outlet, does it show any LED lights that indicate that it has power?
  • Are you using the original power cable?

Let's try this:

 

  1. Plug the speaker or display into a different wall outlet.
    Note: Make sure they are not connected to a surge protector to rule out all other hardware.
  2. Discharge the speaker or display:
    1. Unplug the power adapter from the outlet and the speaker or display.
    2. Leave it unplugged for 20 seconds.
    3. Plug the power adapter into the speaker or display.
    4. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a wall outlet that works.
    5. Check if any LED lights would appear on the back of the speaker or display.
  3. If you have a second speaker or display, try to use the power adapter from the one that currently works.

Hope this works.

Please don't close the case. The suggestions did not fix the problem. I have tried unsuccessfully to work with the Google team to get this resolved. I have been told because I am a couple months past the 12 month warranty that it is OK that the device failed for no reason at all. I need someone from Google with authority to step up and make this right. Google is better than this - simply cannot believe they feel this is acceptable. PLEASE HELPL. Doesn't feel right. I am trying not to go negative here, but it is just so wrong not to get this fixed. My case 4-84-8879000032638 has been rejected DESPITE the pictures, narrative, trouble shooting and explanation. This needs to be fixed. Just isn't right.

Tried to fill out the requested form. The page won't take it. What is going on? No one appears to want to get this resolved. Google Home Nest Max Hub will not turn on. Google customer service CLOSED or DENIED by request stating the unit is out of warranty by a couple of months. Feels totally wrong to me. I sent in pictures, validated it wasn't the adaptor, attempted to reboot as recommended. Please help. :Case number is 4-8879000032638
