I recently got a nest mini and nest audio (less than 24 hours ago), I already have several minis and older Home (both able to set alarms with no issues) . They're all connected properly and on the Google home app, setup the same as all my other devices. The older devices have absolutely no issues. However, the newer nest mini and nest audio cannot set alarms. "I'm sorry I'm not able to set that alarm, please try again in a few seconds." Help.
I have performed factory resets on both devices and also set them up as "new devices" in Home (ie not copying others settings....still same issue

Exact same problem here, just different language.
