All of a sudden my Nest speakers can't find any songs or albums - it says it looked on YouTube but couldn't find it or it isn't available at the moment. But if you ask for an artist or for it to play music it works. So if you ask for it to play an artist it can play their songs, but if you ask for the exact same song by name it will say it can't find it. I have tried starting a new Home, reinstalling the Home app and the YT music app, rebooting the nest speaker (the same problem affects all 3 speakers in my house), nothing works.

I am having the same problem… I feel like it might be trying to search YouTube instead of YouTube music or something like that… very frustrating.

Same problem here started two days ago. Thing I am gonna start using my Amazon Prime music and stop paying YouTube.

I'm glad I'm not the only one having this problem. Any feedback??

Exactly the same issue.
Waiting to see if any feedback or advice can be given!

So I tried removing the Nest from the Home and re-adding it. That didn't work.
I tried resetting to factory. That didn't work.
I have verified that you can find the song on your phone, and cast it, but if you search Nest for the same song, it doesn't find that song. I have also verified that if you ask Assistant to play a station based on the group, that the song is in the playlist. Just can't search it.

I have the same problem, and also attempted the factory rest, as well as casting from phone which did work. Sounds like a google server issue.

Yes mine has now fixed itself, no feedback from Google yet but looks like they have fixed it behind the scenes

Hey all,
I am sorry for the late reply, and to hear about the trouble you are having with your device. I wanted to jump in, and see if I could be of any help. Do you mind me asking, what model you are currently using? Which provider were you trying to play music from? I would recommend double-checking the account you are logged into.
Best regards,
Jake

Hello!
My issue resolved itself about two weeks after it cropped up. I did a number of factory resets in that time on the two (of seven) Nests we own (one v1 mini, one v2 mini, both trying to play from YouTube Music). Wish I could say what the actual issue was. All I can say is that factory reset didn't seem to do the trick, the issue was intermittent, and that it did not affect all devices in the house.
In any case, thanks for the suggested steps to resolve! Will try them should the issue show up again.
