Nest mini does not connect to wifi

My goggle nest mini cannot connect anymore to wifi. I have already followed the instructions and tried rebooting with no success. Problem started after the latest update of Home app in July.

  • Are there other Nest Speakers in your home?
  • Are you getting a specific error message?
  • What's the status LED light on your speaker?

Hi, No, that is our only Nest speaker. The problem is that it does not connect to wifi. It used to work well, but suddenly the wifi problem started. We rebooted the device and removed it from the home app, then we tried to add it again in home (also changing home), all works well (home can find it, we hear the sound it does when detected) until we write the wifi password, when it says that there is a connection problem. Obviously the password is correct and the wifi works well for other devices. The led lights are red. Thanks for your help

If a reboot didn't fix the issue, a simple reset can sometimes resolve minor glitches. Follow these steps to factory reset your Google Nest Mini.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it did not solved. I followed the steps but got at the same point with connection problem.
