Nest Hub Max displaying incorrect sliver of opposite side of display.

Hello. It looks like the left side of my screen is actually the right side of the screen. There is a sliver on the left that is showing what should be on the far right. There is some pictures and video attached. You can see the little grab handle move from this sliver to the other side of the screen when dragging it. Maybe a driver issue or bad display?

I understand you've noticed a strange display issue on your Nest Hub Max where a portion of the screen's right side is appearing as a thin sliver on the left. I appreciate you sending the photos and video. It seems the video didn't come through, but the pictures are very helpful in showing us what's happening. I'd be happy to help you get to the bottom of it.

Before I start further troubleshooting, let me ask you a few questions:

  • What is the display firmware version? You can use this help article as a reference: Find your device's firmware version
  • Was the display dropped or knocked over?
  • Is the display Assistant working?

In the meantime, I recommend you restart your device to restore the display of the screen.  Please follow the steps below:

  1. Unplug the power cord from your speaker or display.
  2. Leave it unplugged for ~1 minute.
  3. Plug the power cable back in.
