Nest mini gives commute time for car but in settings motorcycle is selected

I have setup a morning routine which includes "Tell me about my commute". I have selected the transport mode as motorcycle but still it gives the commute time for car. How do I resolve this?

System Firmware: 348702

Cast Firmware: 1.56.348702

Language: en-GB

This is not the experience we want you to have; let me help you. A few questions: when did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made?

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first: 

1. Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
3. Restarting your phone might also help.

If the issue persists, you can revert your Nest Mini to its original settings and set it up again. Follow the steps in this link and tell us how it goes.

Resetting the best mini 2 didn't help. When I checked on my phone it has the same issue. It looks like the issue is with the Assistant. Please guide me on how to resolve this.

Thanks for trying some steps. Could you please try this command: "OK Google, how long will it take to ride by motorcycle to the library?" Let's also make sure that the correct home address is selected on your Google Maps.

By default the mode was car and after changing it to motorcycle it never applied, so to answer your question, it was not a recent issue. Let me try resetting the best mini.
