If I pair my phone to a Google mini via Bluetooth, can I unplug it, take it away and use it as a Bluetooth speaker?

Mini don't have battery u still need the cable for the energy.

I understand that, but will it remain paired. Once plugged back in away from home, will my phone still find it amongst its paired devices and be able to use it as a simple Bluetooth speaker?

Hi kwashi,

I'm glad you reach out, and thanks Ene90 for your answer.

Please note that once you pair and connects your phone to your Nest Mini, it will auto-connect unless the speaker gets disconnected or turned off. Also, you can connect multiple Bluetooth enabled speakers or devices, but it will only connect to the most recently connected device.

To learn more about playing music on your speaker using Bluetooth, please visit this link.

Let us know if you need further help.

Cheers,

Muddi
