Nest mini setup

I changed mi wifi modem and wanted to set the new wifi to the device, instead of factory reset I erased the device from my home and now it tells me that the device was previously set by another user ( which was not ) and that I have to do factory reset, but the device is no longer visible on the home app

Hi @MarF

Thanks for adding that screenshot. Can you try clearing the Google Home's app cache? That may help.

If you are still having trouble and getting that error be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom of the Google Home app and look for that device. Do you see the device at all?

Try to add it again as a new device and let us know if you still get that error.

Thanks!

Hello everyone,

Thanks for being helpful, @JillG.

We're happy to hear that you were able to configure your Google Nest Mini after doing a factory reset. Let me know if you still have questions or concerns; otherwise, I'll be locking this thread after 24 hours.

Cheers,
Lovely
