Nest mini stop streaming music

Can no longer stream music to my Google nest mini 2nd gen with out it just stopping for no reason.

I have restarted router, the Google mini  and my tablet used for streaming.   Cleared caches of all apps to do with music and forced closed the apps.  Even reinstall applications.  It's fixes issue for a few hours that back to square one of doing the whole restarting and clear cache again.

Any one got any other solutions?

I appreciate you taking the time to try a variety of troubleshooting steps. First, I have some quick questions to get a better understanding of this situation.

  • When the device stops streaming music, does it say that it is offline? 
  • Do you see any error messages on either device?
  • Is your device still shown as powered on and connected when this issue occurs?
  • What music streaming service are you using? 
  • Does this occur with all types of media streaming? (Spotify, YouTube, Pandora, etc.)

There is no error messages at all. 

The device is on line and the router that next to it is on.   All my devices show a strong internet connection.  

It happens using all apps.  VLC, Spotify, tunein, global player, YouTube, Plex, ect. 

I even used other apps that do the same thing using multiple different devices and same issue.  The only common denominator is the Google mini.

I have some more quick questions:

  • When you do a voice command ("Hey Google...") to play music on the device does the music play? Or are you encountering the same issues of the music not playing?

I stopped using it for a while as the issue was to infuriating.   I have started using it again as I saw your post. Yes the same issue.

The issue is it plays music but just suddenly stops for no reason.  It not matter if I'm using commands or casting my music.   Not matter the app.  Yes I have checked all is updated to latest version.

Same issue. Music is so choppy! I usually stream music to my speakers from my PC (via bluetooth). No issues. Smooth and nice. In order to save screen time I tell Nest to play music on my Bluetooth speakers. It cuts every 2 seconds, it' is really stressful. I have stopped using Google Nest (I literally bought it to reduce screen time and change music using my voice, but the internet reception of Nest is too bad. 
Please could you tell me how to return my Nest in Japan?
