Hi @DeanH,

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand your Nest Audio device is playing Radio Cymru 2 when you're asking it to play Radio 2. It sounds frustrating to get a different result from your Nest Audio when you only want to play Radio 2. I'm happy to help.

Here are a few tips on how you can try to start your desired stream more accurately:

  1. Be More Specific with the Voice Command:

    • Instead of just "Hey Google, play Radio 2," try including the full name or the distinguishing part:

      • "Hey Google, play Radio 2 by BBC (if Radio 2 is by BBC Radio)."

      • "Hey Google, play the exact station Radio 2 by BBC."

      • If the station has a call sign or specific frequency mentioned, try incorporating that: "Hey Google, play [Call Sign/Frequency]."

  2. Make sure your mobile device is connected to the same WiFi network and linked under the same account as the Nest Audio.
  3. Unlink and then relink your radio service. You can refer to this article for instructions: Link and unlink your radio services.
  4. Try to request the radio service using different commands. Refer to this article for more voice commands: Listen to radio.
  5. Make sure your Nest Audio has the most recent firmware. Check it out in this article: Google speaker and display firmware versions and release notes.
  6. Ensure the Google Home app and the BBC radio app are up-to-date.

Please keep me posted.

Regards,

Anders
