help when I moved my speaker has lost all connectivity. I have two google speakers and a google nest. When I moved I managed to re connect one speaker and one google nest and tv…. Tried the factory reset. Tried to use another device iPhone 13 and iPad which both show my google home and all other devices. The speaker turns on and lights up. I’ve unplugged it and tried searching for it, just doesn’t seem to connect to anything. It was working perfectly before the move. Do I have a boat anchor now?

Hi folks,
@Shelly27, @rajsekhar, I really appreciate you taking these important steps before you put it out there. It helps us narrow things down. A great thing is that most of your devices are locked in, we just need to focus on some that aren’t connected.
It would be a big help if we do a sequential reboot first by unplugging your router followed by your Nest speakers. Plug them back in starting with your router. Rebooting your phone might also help. Next is to make sure that your phone’s mobile/cellular data is turned off while fully connected to Wi-Fi. Before setting it up, go to your phone’s Wi-Fi settings and connect to your Nest speakers hotspot. Set them all up.
For future reference, here's how to do a factory reset.
Keep me posted.
Best,
Dan

Mine still doesn’t work I have tried the suggestions. It’s plugged in again and ever once in a while the lights turn on like it’s searching but doesn’t find a connection.

Hey Shelly27,
Sorry to hear that. Just an added question: how far is your device from the router? What specific Google Home/Nest device do you have? Are you using a dual-band router? Do you have other Google speakers/displays that are working on the same network?
To eliminate network issues, please try setting up your device using a mobile hotspot. Please note that you will need two mobile devices for this setup (one will serve as a router and the other to be used to set up your Google Home/Nest speaker).
Looking forward to your response.
Cheers,
Muddi

Hi Shelly27,
Have you had the chance to connect your device to a mobile hotspot?

Hey Shelly27,
Connecting your Nest speaker to a mobile hotspot will help us further isolate network issues. Please make sure to use 2 different phones/tablets. Follow these steps below to know-how:
@MaxandTy : To confirm, did you hear a confirmation that it is resetting? What are the lights that you can see on your device?
Let me know how it goes.

I am following this thread closely, as I have a similar issue: one Google Nest Audio speaker was connected to my old wifi; upgraded to a new wifi network and lost the connection to the speaker. I have successfully factory reset once (but can't repeat), but can't see the speaker when attempting to link through Home. Now the speaker is doing the same thing Shelly27 references.
Not clear to me how a hotspot will address the issue; seems that the speaker is still looking for the old network and I don't know how to tell it to look for the new one.

I’m struggling on how to get the speaker to connect to a hotspot when the instructions was to turn off my mobile network so Telus. Still on wifi but in settings you can’t turn on your hotspot without mobile enabled
