I have quite a few nest audio devices (large speakers and minis). In the kitchen I have a Nest hub. The issue we are having is we use the next hub for a timer A LOT. Recently other hubs have been picking up the timer request and not the Nest Hub. Is there a way to coordinate all the timers or prioritize timers going to the Hub? The visual on the timer on the next Hub is much better, so we’d prefer it to be our kitchen timer.

Hi Stutz191,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.
This is not the experience that we wanted you to have, let me help you out. I totally understand that coordinating all the timers is a good feature to use with your Nest Hub, but, this feature is not yet available. I'd suggest you submit feedback about it, here's how. About the issue on your Nest Hub that doesn’t pick up the timer, when did it begin? Were there any changes made before the issue started. What steps did you take so far?
You can do a sequential reboot. First, unplug your Nest Hub that has the issue for 30 seconds, then do the same thing on your Wi-Fi router to refresh both devices and your Wi-Fi signal.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks,
Juni

Dan, I think the responses are missing the issue. Google wants us to have multiple devices placed throughout the home. However, some down coordinate. So, for example if you are in the kitchen and you set a timer, the kitchen hub is the best visual for the timer. However, if for some reason another device picks up your timer request, it’s being timed on another device. When you ask google how much time is left (or you look at the kitchen display), nothing is there.
the point is, I’d think it shouldn’t be too hard to prioritize a device for timers or at least coordinate timers. Why would I want a 5 min timer on one and not the other?

Hey Stutz191,
We got your point. Normally, the speakers/display with a strong network signal will pick up the command first. Have you tried to lower the "Hey Google" sensitivity of your other devices? Also, how far are you from your kitchen device when you setup the timer?
For device sensitivity settings, please follow the steps below:
Let us know how it goes.

The last suggestion of changing the sensitivity helped. Thanks.
I still think that there is a improvement to be made where you can see all timers in any visual google device.

Hi Stutz191,
I'm happy to hear that those steps work for you. We're always looking for ways to improve -- we'll take this as feedback, and we'll gladly pass it along to the team. You can also send feedback using your device by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback." Visit this link for more steps.
It looks like we can consider this one complete, so I will lock the thread shortly unless I can help out with anything else.
Cheers,
Muddi
