Nest speaker won't play rap

Hi, 

My nest audio won't stream certain albums from YouTube music. I have a pixel 6 & YouTube music premium but no joy. Only impacts hip hop - I tried Kendrick Lamar, jay z, pusha t but all I get is an apology that something went wrong and that I should try again. 

 

Is my speaker racist or are there FRM issues on streaming certain artists? They all play fine on my phone.

If you are outside the U.S. , those artists may not be available. It could also be an explict lyrics block.

Moc101 What's the exact command and the response of your Nest Audio when playing your music? Try using this command " OK Google, Play <artist name>", Play <artist name>" on <music service>” .

Unfortunately not. It's blocking it from streaming from my phone. Voice commands just get ignored.

We understand. Try checking if the restriction on your Google Nest speakers and displays, check this guide. Also, may we confirm what country your located in?

Thanks for responding. Could you pelase try to check some settings on your YouTube app itself? Here's a link that would help you out.

 

Lastly, let's try to perform a complete reset to your Google Nest Audio to see if that would also help.

Thanks. I don't know why it would be region restricted as it plays on random and all other devices.
