Nest speakers show on network but not responding ( please log on to Google app)

Hi, I had to disconnect my wifi for my provider to compete a repair. Now I have been trying to get my smart speakers to work.

They appear on my deco mesh system as connected but I get the following when asking anything

"Please connect to through the Google app".  I've tried all of the suggestions such as hard reset, checking router settings  etc. None have fixed the issue.

My nest hub max did work although it too initially displayed an error saying nest set up but cant be found...

As of now I have two nest minis and a nest audio that are effectively bricks!

Any advice would be appreciated

Hello Rickboy,

 

Thanks for sharing details about the issue here. I know how challenging it is not having a working device when needed. To further isolate the issue, please set up one of your speakers on a different network like mobile hotspot. Please note that you will need two mobile devices for this setup (one will serve as a router and the other to be used to set up your Google speaker).
