Nest won't connect to Sirius XM

Sirius XM plays fine in my Android phone, computer, and car but my Nest speaker (which used to play it just fine) now says "Sorry, something went wrong.  When you're ready, try again".  No indication what the "something" is. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting Sirius in Google Home, verifying that Google is authorized in Sirius, and everything else I can think of.  What else should I try?

Hi rab52764,

Thanks for reaching out about the SiriusXM issue. I can definitely help! Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Restart your device: Simply unplug it for 10 seconds and then plug it back in.
  2. Try a different power source: If you're using a power adapter, try plugging it into a different outlet.
  3. Unlink and relink SiriusXM: If restarting doesn't work, remove the device from the Google Home app and then set it up again. This will refresh the connection with SiriusXM.
  4. Factory reset (last resort): If none of the above steps work, you might need to perform a factory reset. Keep in mind this will erase all your settings.

Let me know if you have any questions while trying these steps. I'm here to help!

Best regards,

Chris
