Nest wont verify my voice since new wifi

I have a nest mini in my kitchen that both me and my partner use, it was set up so that we could both ask it to play music, set timers, add items to a shopping list etc. We recently got a new router so I had to do a factory reset to change the WiFi settings and redded the nest to our network. Now every time I ask the assistant to add something to my shopping list (or various other tasks) I get "I can only do this once I verify your voice..." and instructions to verify in the Google home app. I've done this multiple times, I've retrained the assistant, I've removed my voice and re-added it, and the nest still won't recognise me. I'm at a loss what to do next! It worked fine before and now it's almost useless- massive regrets getting a new WiFi router!

Hi Croissants,

That certainly hasn’t been easy for you. Let’s get this sorted out. Check if “Personal Results” is on. Open the Google Home app > Settings > Google Assistant > Personal Results. Toggle it off and on if it’s already on.

If the issue persists, remove and re-add the Google Nest Mini to your home. From the Google Home app, go to Devices > Tap Google Nest Mini > Settings > Remove device > Remove. To add, go back to Devices and scroll down to Other Cast or Local Devices > Tap Google Nest Mini > Add to a room. Follow the instructions in adding it back to your room.

Regards,
Alex
