Found out my new internet provider (5G wireless Broadband TPG) does allow connecting to my google home devices.
I was on the phone with google customer service and we did everything. Device restart, going into the backend of the internet and choosing 5G only, adding my internet name to 5G, only configuring 5G and not 2.4G….. hopeless.
Customer service rang TPG my internet provider and told me that 5G wireless is the issue and if i was using NBN it would be fine. 😟
Hopeless last attempt to ask the community here before i give up.
However weirdly, we manage to connect the Audio Nest and Google Chromcast l but it doesn’t show up on our phone devices to stream music, or stream any of our apps (youtube, netflix)
Google audio does respond to our voice, so we can ask it to play music or weather etc… BUT it doesn’t show on phone devices.

I’m having the same issue . Just switched to TPG 5g broadband and can no longer use chrome cast !!

Kappa, I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should. What message are you getting when connecting your Chromecast to your new network? What steps have you taken so far? Give the steps below a try and let me know how it goes:
