New nest pro router and unable to connect google speakers

Upgrade my router to nest pro 6e from previous google router. However, now I can not get my Google Home or any of the many minis we have to connect to the wifi. I've factory reset all the speakers and rebooted router. Tried installing into home app on my Samsung s24 as well as 2 different ipads. All can connect to the speaker, but get an unable to connect to speaker error after selecting wifi (password is correct). I've tried using phone as hotspot, and have gotten it to show in app, even shows wifi name, but when giving a command, says not on same network.

Hi @Boodel,

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry o hear you're having some difficulties setting up your speakers and displays. Let's work together to figure out the issue you're experiencing. To help with that, I have a few questions for you.

  • What type of display do you have?
  • What is the error message that you received?
  • How far are you from your Wi-Fi router?
  • Are you attempting to set up on a 2.4 or 5 GHz Wi-Fi connection? If it’s a 5 GHz network, does your mobile device support 5 GHz?
  • What other devices do you have connected to the network?

In the meantime, you can check this information for more details about : Wi-Fi network not listed in the Google Home app.

Please keep me updated on your progress.

Regards,

Jonathan
