@Marshall88

Are you saying that on one of your Nest Hubs, when you swipe down to view "Home control", you have a "Cameras" option and on the other you do NOT?

If so, are both of your Nest Hubs in the same Google Nest "home/structure" on the same Wi-Fi network on the same Google Account?

If so, you could try rebooting your Nest Hub by unplugging it for a minute, or by using the "Reboot" option in the Google Home app.

Thank you for your respond

This same defect (missing "Cameras" tile under "Home control" on Nest Hub) has been reported by many other customers on these two threads earlier this year, with no resolution yet from Google Nest:

Hi Marshall88,

This is not the experience we want you to have, let me help you. A few questions: when did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made? Were you all able to stream your smart cameras when giving voice commands to stream using your Nest Hub 2nd Gen?

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers, then your smart cameras.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

Also, follow the steps below for a soft reset:

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is linked to the same account as your speaker or display.
  2. Open the Google Home app.
  3. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  4. At the top right, tap Settings > More >  Reboot.
  5. After the soft reset, unplug the power cord from your Nest Hub Max for 5 mins and plug it back in.

Check the camera tile on your Nest Hub Max's home control tab and tell us the status.

Thanks for helping, MplsCustomer!

Best,

Dan
