No power home mini

Hello,

My gen 1 home mini died in the night. It was unresponsive, no lights, no sound…nothing.

It won’t reset, 11x method has no lights showing response. I checked the power cord and it is working. This past week it hasn’t been listening well.
Please help

Hi Tatiana22,

I’m sorry to hear about your Google Home Mini being unresponsive. Let’s further look into it. A few questions: are you using the official power cord that came with your Google Home Mini? Is it plugged directly into a wall outlet or surge protector? Are other devices able to receive power from the same outlet? Do you have another Google Home Mini or a spare micro USB power cord?

Try to use a different power cord and plug it into a different wall outlet. Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Alex

Hello Alex,

Yes, I am using the original cord and it does have power, I connected a headset and it started charging. I have tried using the headset usb and the og to power the mini, using the wall and a surge protector.
