Hi, I can't playing music on my nest audio. I tried to set music service in my google home but the list of services is empty. I have youtube music on my phone that i'm using but google home will not even show it so I can choose a default service. Please help.
Welcome to the Google Nest Community Forum.
Apologize for the late response. I know how challenging it can be when you're having an issue setting up your music service on the Google Home app. Could you tell us which country you are located in? What type of account are you using (personal or business account)? Have you tried using a different phone to see if you have the same issue?
Looking forward to your response.
I have this same problem, the music services list is always empty. My old phone was nokia 7 plus (android one phone) and now i'm using One+ 7 pro.
And if i say "play some metallica" to assistant, the response is "i'm sorry deezer is not available in your country".
I don't even have deezer installed anymore and never were on this phone. And atleast normal subscription of deezer is available here in Finland.
So, I set the language to English in my phone and now there was youtube premium to choose. And now it uses youtube music when just asking to play something. No need to specify which app anymore.
Why does this change the options? I've always been speaking english to the assistant anyway.
My apologies for the late response. Currently, Google Home and Nest devices are not yet fully supported in Finland and Greece, and that's the reason why there's no music services available.
Please note that you can still use the device, but we can only guarantee the full functionalities for the Google Home/Nest devices in countries where it was fully supported. You can try to change the language to EN_US as a workaround, just like what @Rhannuksela did. However, you can only see limited music services.
We're always looking for ways to bring the Google Home/Nest devices to additional countries in the future. Please feel free to send feedback on your devices by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback," or visit this link for more steps.
