Not able to view Motion Sense options on my Nest Hub 2nd Gen

I have got a Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen and I am not able to see any Motion Sense options. I have already enabled gesture controls but that doesn't seem to do anything.

Looking at other YouTube videos I am supposed to get more options in the settings menu...

@royal

On our 2nd gen Nest Hub, the "Motion Sense" option does NOT appear in the Google Home app, but only on the Nest Hub itself, below the "Photo Frame" option and above the "Sleep Sensing" option and the "Quick Gestures" option.  We have to scroll down to see it.

  • I had to reset my device and now the setting has gone. There’s no more under photo frame

@Shan75

Well, that's peculiar.  You could try just a simple reboot by unplugging the Nest Hub for a minute or so, or rebooting from within the Google Home app, just to see if that brings back "Motion Sense".

I reset it again and it worked

Yes, mine too doesn't have any more options than Device Information, Bluetooth, Display and  Photo frame. And I have rebooted it multiple times... I will try to reset it.
I am guessing there's some kind of issue here related to Nest Hubs being sold in India specifically

Unfortunately, I still have the same problem even after the complete factory reset.
Also, there aren't any more options below the "Photo Frame" option.

Hi royal,

I’m jumping in to further look into this. I see that you’ve previously mentioned that the Google Nest Hub 2nd gen device is in India. The Motion Sense feature uses low-energy radar to detect movements like breathing and gestures. It is powered by Soli. However, the Soli Sensor (on Google Nest Hub 2nd gen) isn’t supported yet in India. But no worries, as Google is working on supporting more countries for this. You can always send us feedback to help us improve our product.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

Sincerely,
Alex
