The nest hub next to my bed is on fuchia version 26, but it has the old google icons for smart homes, shows the old menus (some), so what happened?

Hi @Dog3!

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand you've noticed that even though your Google Nest Hub is updated to Fuchsia version 26, it appears to be showing older Google icons and some older menus, making it look like it has downgraded software. I'm happy to help you!

To help me find the best solution, I'll need to ask you a few questions:

  • Which specific Google Nest Hub model is it? You can check our Google Nest Hub models at the following link: Google Nest speakers and displays.
  • Could you provide me with the exact firmware version of your Google Nest Hub? Here is an article that may be useful to verify it: How to check your firmware version.
  • Have you tried restarting the Google Nest Hub since noticing this? (By unplugging it from power for about a minute, then plugging it back in.)
  • Could you please provide a photo of the icons and old menus that are appearing on your Google Nest Hub's screen?

Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.

Best regards,
Geremi
