I really don't understand how you cannot check timers for other nest devices within the same household. Seems like something very doable in 2023, heck even in 1990, this would not be a difficult programming feat.
Sorry for sounding harsh, but I've seen this desire from customers goes back years. There has been plenty of time to put this into production from a coding standpoint.

It's annoying isn't it.
Even more annoying when you can say "stop the timer"
And it will "stop any timers ringing on your smart home devices "
But if you're in the home office and you have only one timer running in the whole house (in the kitchen) you can't say "how long is left on the timer" or "how long is left on the kitchen timer"
It just tells you you have no timers running. 🤬
Also annoying, I discovered the other day, I was in the shower and had a timer running on my phone which I took into the bathroom (because if I had started the timer on the kitchen hub I wouldn't be able to check it from the bathroom hub🙄). The timer on my phone ended and started beeping, so I told the bathroom hub to stop the timer, it said it was stopping all ringing timers on my smart devices, BUT DIDN'T STOP THE TIMER ON MY PHONE. So I had to listen to that beeping for 5 minutes till I got out of the shower. So relaxing 🤯
I wish this command worked: "OK google, finish designing a project/feature properly before half-assing it and giving up or cancelling it while people use it"
But that would get "I'm sorry I don't understand" 🤔🤣😐😢

Hi folks,
Thanks for reaching out. I totally understand that this is a good feature to use with your Nest speakers and displays, but it isn’t available. I'd suggest you submit feedback about it, here's how.
