Other family member can’t add photo albums

FreeThinker58

I have another family member who can’t see their albums to display on the nest, although the albums do exist in photos. I can see and display my albums from Google photos. I can also display an album that my other family member shares with me. But from their iPhone when you go to photo frame in the nest, the screen is empty where the albums should be visible. Note: the other family member should have full access to the nest device and both accounts are selected to be able to display photos

Hi FreeThinker58,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

If you have a family member linked to your Google Nest display, they can share their photos by following these steps:

Share groups of photos with your Google contacts

  1. From your Nest display, say:
    • “Hey Google, share my photos.”
    • “Hey Google, share photos of <person> with <contact name>.” You can also ask to share photos of a specific place, object or date.
  2. Your display should show photos with the details that you specified.
  3. Select the photos you want and then tap Share.
  4. The photos are shared via Google Photos, and the recipient should receive an email or text message to notify them that they have received new photos.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Princess
