Hi AuntieS,
Thanks for reaching out.
Sorry to hear about this experience. Could you tell us how many speakers are affected by this response? Also, have you already tried deleting the speaker group instead of removing the device? Let's try first to perform a complete reset on your Google Nest speakers that are affected by this prompt. As soon as the reset is done, set it up and let's see if this would make any changes. Here's how you can perform a complete reset:
Let me know how it goes.

Hello,
There were two speakers that were grouped. The group could not be deleted, the speaker could not be deleted, and the speakers could not be connected. Neither were functioning. Reset did not work. I ended up unplugging them, connecting to a different wifi at someone else's house. then factory reset again, and was able to reconnect at my house. Definitely not creating another group as this was a pain in the butt.
thanks

Hi there,
Thanks for the additional details. Have you tried deleting the old home structure and create a new one? Let's try that first and see if this would fix the issue.
