Hello Gui_Iom,

Thanks for visiting the Google Nest Community.

Can you tell us more about this so we can further look into it?

Alex

Hi there,

Kindly send another photo focusing on that icon. Also, is it only showing when watching videos on YouTube? I’ll wait for your reply.

Kind regards,
Alex

Hi,

It's the icon with a bed which indicates that sleep monitoring is enabled. It is always displayed: photos, videos...

Kind regards,

Gui

a precision: the icon appears as soon as I am in front of the screen

Hi Gui_Iom,

Ah, gotcha! If you enable the Sleep sensing feature on your Google Nest Hub 2nd gen, it will track any movement it detects in front of the screen. This is the possible reason why you are seeing that icon. Just like what you have mentioned, it appears as soon as you’re in front of it. Your Google Nest Hub 2nd gen captures that movement.

You can always choose to pause Sleep Sensing. Just swipe up from the bottom of the display > select Settings > tap Sleep Sensing . To resume, tap Sleep Sensing again to start it the next time you are in the sleep spot.

Best,
Alex

Thank you

It's a pity that this icon does not momentarily disappear when reading a video
