Permission Settings Problems

I have setup my wife with all the same levels of access (I think).  However Google Assistant acts like she doesn't have access to control certain items or that they're not even there.  For instance, I can say "Hey Google, run the Roomba" or "Hey Google, add milk to grocery list (have OurGroceries app linked)" and it works, however if my wife says the same thing Google responds with something like there is no Roomba setup.

Hey cookiemonsterks,

Thanks for reaching out and my apologies for the late response here. I know how important it is for your wife to be able to control and use the Google Home/Nest device without an issue. Please try removing your wife's account from the Google Home app, then re-add her again. Make sure to activate voice match for the device to recognize her voice. Below are the steps, or you can also visit this link for more information.

To remove other members:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Switch to the home you want to edit.
  3. Tap Settings > Household.
  4. Tap the home member you want to remove.
  5. At the top right, tap Remove.

Invite members to a home:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Switch to the home you want to share.
  3. At the top, tap Add > Invite home member > Invite person.
    • If you don't find "Invite home member," tap Add person to home.
  4. Enter the name or email address of the person you want to invite to your home > tap Next.
  5. Review what’s shared when you add someone to your home > tap Next.
  6. Review the person’s access to your home > tap Send.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,

Muddi
