I have a Spotify family account with 4 members; Myself, my wife and our 2 boys (well call them J and G). All 4 of the accounts are regular accounts (not kids accounts). My wife and I have Spotify on our android phones and the boys each have a Nest Audio speaker in their bedrooms. From what I can tell all of the devices are linked via the Google Home app, and as such all of them are tied to the master account.... mine. I want to know how I can link G's speaker to his own personal Spotify account, so when he wants to listen to his music on his device in his room it doesn't shut off music to J's speaker, or my phone.
How do I link each device to a specific Spotify account? If this is not possible then IS Google working on a solution? I read about a workaround by Halfmagic3 (https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Speakers-and-Displays/Family-Spotify-Accounts-Not-Working-for...) but this method is not only ludicrous and circuitous but unacceptable by todays standard of interconnectivity.
