Playlists

Hi. I recently bought both a Google Nest Audio and Nest Mini. I cannot for the life of me get Google to play MY playlists via voice control. I am subscribed to YouTube music which I imagine would be the best pairing for a Google product. If, for example, I ask Google to play MY blink-182 playlists it will say "here is A blink-182 playlist" if I ask her to play MY uplifting playlist it will say "here is AN uplifting playlist on YouTube music"
I find it absurd that it won't play my playlists as this is why I bought the devices to easily access my playlists hands free when cooking or bathing etc.
Am I asking wrong or are your devices not programmed to do this. Alexa does this easily but unfortunately isn't compatible with YouTube music.

Maybe give your Playlist and unique name and make it public
try to set routine with exact phrase and maybe it will work out.

You're probably asking wrong.  I say that not to blame you, but Google is awfully dang picky at phrasing and pronunciation and it drives me crazy.  However, I also have YouTube Music, and I can get Google to play my playlists, so that's definitely possible.  I think Luckyhere is on the right track suggesting you name them something fairly unique, though.  Give Google less chance to get confused.

As for how you phrase the request?  I just tested.  I have a playlist called "Instrumentals".  I asked google to play my instrumental playlist, and it happily showed me a list of things on the web that matched.  Duh.  So I asked it to play my playlist called Instrumentals, and it picked it up perfect.

It really should not be this difficult, but it is.  Just keep playing with how you phrase the request and change the names if necessary, you should be able to make it work.

Thanks for the reply, I just tried your "play my playlist called _____" and it still just played a random playlist called that. This is incredibly frustrating.

I am doing everything nest support via Facebook is suggesting but nothing will work.

I even tried it through the Google assistant app and it types out exactly what I say so it definitely understands me.

It's even more frustrating now knowing that it IS possible to do and users such as yourself can do it easily.
