Please login through the Google Home app - Home mini keep getting removed from the Home

This has been a long running issue with the home mini. I tried resetting it many times and finally gave up on it and stopped using it. The issue started appearing very frequently recently that goes from annoying to irritating. This degrades my experience for google hardware overall.

Please answer the following: When did the issue start? How frequently does the Google Home Mini unlink in a day? What other troubleshooting steps have you tried? When did you purchase the device?

Please ensure that you reset the Google Home Mini correctly by pressing and holding the reset button at the bottom of the device, below the G logo, before you set it up. If you've done this, send a feedback with the keyword "GHT3 Home Mini automatically unlinking."

I reset it couple of times but that did not helped.

Hi,

i have exactly the same problem. Set it up yesterday, worked fine and this morning it is asking me to log in through the home app.

There is NO login page in the home app. There is no Factory Reset where you have mentioned. The app is showing the device, the room and the wifi. The app can communicate with the device in that it can reboot it. I have tried resetting the device. I still get the same message to login through the home app.

Like the original poster I am thinking of stopping using this device and sending it back for a refund
