I have tried seven or eight equalizer apps and the sound remains hollow and the speakers still have a hollow sound. I have used the equalizer in the home app and it is very limited ...two bands..what is this, 1962? The equalizer on YouTube music produces inadequate results, the bass rattles the enclosure and the treble is nasty and so is the midrange. The speakers are way, way worse than my Alexa Show speakers and I play all music from my Google Pixel 7 pro phone on both devices.
In addition, I have seen it suggested that I hold the icon for my device ( icon for my speakers ???? ) on the Google Home App and there is still no icon for settings on that page.
I am just about ready to give up on these tragically inadequate speakers. I can't in good conscience sell them as I won't sell something this bad to a buyer. What can be done to improve the sound? I am a retired musician and the sound on these speakers offends my music sensibilities. I am ready to throw these out and go Bose or JBL. I am desperate. Please help!!
