Problem connecting nest mini

I can’t get the nest mini to connect. Sometimes I get an error message (83905) and sometimes it just fails to do anything at all. I have tried a different network, checked the language selection on my phone, brought it right by the router after having rebooted same and am getting frustrated. It shouldn’t be this difficult! I’ve had a nest mini before and got it connected but at a different address. This is a brand new nest mini as my old one wouldn’t work here. I’m wondering if the problem wasn’t with the old nest mini but something else.

  1. Change the default language to English US
  2. Change your Google Account to English US as well as your assistant's language.

Change the lanuage to English (US) in iphone or google account in google Home app?

Hi Arunjan15,

 

The language set on Google Assistant in the Google Home app should be the same as your iPhone’s language. Use English (US) as the language.
