Problem with Huawei Huawei Speedlink II (B593s-12) Router

Hello everyone!

I don't know why, but my google nest mini is invisible in network. Wifi Router is Huawei Speedlink II (B593s-12).
I set it up in network, we told me that - "AP Isolation is turned on", when I logged in Wifi router admin panel (threw IP adress) I found that AP Isolation is turned off, also I checked all connected devices and router showed me that speaker is connected. Security - WPA-PSK. Can you help me to understand, what I have to do to connect?

Waiting for your reply!

Kind regards,
Leonards

Hi Leonards

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

A few things: Is your Nest Mini setup or are you trying to set it up for the first time? If it was set up and you are trying to connect it to your new router, you need to perform the factory data reset to put it back to its default setting and set it up again as a new device. Check the steps below for guidance.

Here’s how to do the reset, on the side of your Google Nest Mini, switch the mic off. The LEDs will turn orange. Press and hold the center of your Nest Mini, where the lights are on top. After 5 seconds, your Google Nest Mini will begin the factory reset process. Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more until you hear a sound confirming your Google Nest Mini is resetting.

Check this helpful link for more information.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Juni

Dear Juni,

Thank you for your reply,

I tried to did this method a few times! It doesn't work at all. I tried to reboot and connect Nest Mini to router by switching on or off some settings in router panel - it didn't work. Without any hope I tried to connect Nest Mini with Iphone 13 and Samsung galaxy S8 - speaker wrote me a two different errors. When I tried to connect by Samsung S8 - wrote me that AP isolation is switched on, but at this method Iphone wrote me - that it wasn/t connected to local network, but it was.

Only one thing worked well - samsung hotspot, connecting speaker by Iphone to samsung hotspot. I think you understand that after many hours It won't work well (because it is hotspot, not a normal wifi).

Can you recommend any different way or script how to connect to working WI-FI?
It is visible in network, but it can't work in it (IT specialist in our agency said that).

Thanks,

Leonards

Hey Leonards,

Chiming in. To confirm, are you using a personal or business network? Since your device is connecting to a mobile hotspot that means that issue has something to do with your network. It's possible that there are settings that prevent your Nest Mini from connecting.

Cheers,

Muddi

Hey Muddi,

I guess that it's business network! If I correctly understand that I have to switch on a home/personal network in this router? Do you know about different variants of solving this problem? I'll try to change network setup, but if there will be any different variant please write. It will give any variation of this solving problem and I'll solve it faster.

Thank you,

Leonards

Hello there,

We understand. While we love to help configuring your router settings, it's best to contact your router manufacturer or Internet Service Provider since they have more access to your network.

Hello Azarco,

I guess we can close this dialogue, because provider don't know how to solve this problem (they probably recommend to ask you -_- ). Main problem is in special business network settings.

Thank you,
Leonards
