Quick settings not available with Nest Hub

As you know, you can swipe down from the top of the Google Nest Hub screen to get to the quick settings. However, this does not work for me. I can only swipe from right to left to open this page with the various views like smart home controls, etc. I am also not shown the dash that indicates that you can swipe from top to bottom. Means I can't get into the settings from the Nest Hub.
Can anyone tell me why the quick settings are not available on my Nest Hub (2nd gen)?

Have you tried just a simple reboot, either by unplugging your Nest Hub for a minute or from within the Google Home app?

You could also try removing your Nest Hub from the Google Home app, doing a factory reset (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7073477), and then reinstalling your Nest Hub.
