Just got my new Nest Hub 2nd Gen and I'm really disappointed that Google Podcasts doesn't show up the way I would expect it to: i.e. have its own panel alongside YouTube, Spotify etc which lists my subscribed podcasts and lets me easily access next episodes etc. Or am I missing something?

Google Podcasts will show under the Media tab and there is also an icon when you swipe up and then show all.
The podcasts show my current subscriptions under the Media tab. This may not be the same for all regions so you may see a different screen than I do. Generally, I use voice to get to my current pod or start a new one.

Thank you Jill! Alas this isn’t the case for me in the UK. I don’t see Google Podcasts under Media, even though it’s my default podcast player in Google Home Assistant. And swiping up just shows the volume/brightness settings. Appreciate you trying to help!

Hi Princess, hope I’m answering in time. I think the issue might be something to do with the app launcher not being available in my region as when I swipe up I can only access basic settings. And you can see the Google Podcasts app doesn’t appear by default under Media. It only appears when I play via my iPhone and cast to the Nest Hub, and then it only shows what I’m playing. Hope that helps!
