Radio stops playing

I saw a similar post from January of this year, but I can’t get a resolution 

radio plays the last bit of an ad, then goes dead.  I’ve rebooted the mini, the router and the dog.  No luck.  I’m not playing the radio off an app, so there really is nothing to clear out

Thank you.  That was the first thing I tried.  Then I rebooted the router.  Nothing….

@Barneyh, that certainly hasn't been easy for you and thank you for doing the reboot of your Nest device and your router. By the way, may I know what kind of Nest device you have? Is it a Google Home Mini or Nest Mini? Depending on what you have, follow the steps on this guide for the factory reset. Doing so should revert your device back to its default and original settings, refreshing its link to your phone and Wi-Fi. Afterwards, you can set it back up and try playing any radio station.

Dan. Thank you for the reply. It’s weird. I got my mini (1 old one new) to play the station by asking it to play 88.5. Instead of WXPN. It worked. Now WXPN works too. I think someone fixed something and it wasn’t me

Mini working fine now.  I’d suggest using the alternative command as an answer in the future.  Ie. instead of asking to play WXPN, ask to play the station, 88.5.    Or perhaps it was just a Christmas miracle
