Is it possible (HOW?) to cast video from Youtube to Google Nest Hub Max REMOTELY?

In other words, iPhone with access to Youtube sending command to play a video from Youtube on Google Nest Hub Max REMOTELY (at other city).

Thanks

Hi fatburger,

You can use the Google assistant to start a YouTube video on a Nest Hub remotely.

Either speak or type a fully formed command from the Google assistant e.g. "Play <video name> from YouTube on <device name>".

Regards,
Cathal

It is working by text message, but it does not work by voice.

Hey fatburger,

Thanks for coming back to us. A few questions: what specific command are you using? What is the response of your Google Nest Hub Max? Is it on a specific video only? Have you tried other video services like Netflix? Also, what are the steps that you've done?

Looking forward to your response.

Cheers,

I don't have Netflix subscription.

My command is:

"Play Sway by Sinatra from YouTube on Dining Room Display"

It's working when I send it as a text, but it does not work as a voice command.

Hey fatburger,

To confirm, are you using the Google Assistant from the Google Home app, or the Google Assistant app itself? What is the response that you're getting? Also, are you having the same issue when saying it via voice command on the Nest Hub Max?

I tried one more time, and it got worked!

I just said "Hey Google" before "Play Sway by Sinatra from YouTube on Dining Room Display"

So, a voice command works as well.

Thanks a lot, Cathal_S & Muddi!
