Routines button gone on Google Home Hub after recent software update

The UI changed on all 3 of my Google Home Displays, and when I pull down from the top, now I only see 4 buttons, one as huge as half the screen.  Gone are the useful smaller buttons that amongst others allowed me to access my routines. Very annoyed by this update 😞

Yes, I noticed this last night as well, very annoying.  I hope they fix it.

Apparently the latest firmware update for Nest Hubs broke things. See also this thread:

we have the very same issue, i uninstalled the device and reinstalled and still nothing changed. it still looks like the pictures you posted Vgegro 😫 I was about to call until i saw your post, lets see if we get any help, hope so 😁

I rely on the rutines buttons as I’m non verbal so cannot use voice prompts . Very annoyed that I now have to find things on my phone to kick of automations that use to be at my fingertips. Retrograde steps with updates as always google, improve home assistants by removing assistive features and making things harder to use! About par for the course I guess.

Ok… something happened overnight. I have the old UI back on my screen, complete with routines button immediately available. 

Yes, so do we. Before i went to bed last night it was back on.

Same here! I only see room button and my cameras are on idle.

I managed to find my routines. If you select the rooms option they were listed at the bottom. Absolutely terrible update. It makes them hard to access quickly. Please add a routine button under rooms.

Everything works for me this morning ! Probably an update in the last few hours. 

Yes, before i went to bed last night  all the settings were back

My Hub  Came back on last night before i went to bed and has been working great all day, no issues thus far.
