Same wifi, no connection on my phone

My Google home is connected on the Same wifi than my phone. However, when i try to connect with the device on Google Home App, it keeps saying « My device is inaccessible. My device cannot be detected on this Wi-Fi network. Check that it is online and that your phone or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network. ». I can launch automatics process with my phone, but cannot connect by devices button. What is the problem?

Thanks for posting on the community forum. I'm sorry to hear your Google Home device is inaccessible in the Google Home app because you're receiving an error message that says it needs to be connected to the same network as your phone. No worries, I'd be glad to help you. To help with that, I have a few questions:

  • Do you have a VPN turned on in your phone? 
  • Have you successfully added it to your account?
  • Does your device work correctly with the voice command?

Please let me know the answer to these questions.
