Search cookbook collection

So we have tons of recipes in our cookbook collection and the only way to find the one we want appears to be to scroll through them.  We have tried asking the assistant to do something like "search my cookbook for a" and give the exact name of the recipe, but it always returns web results, not saved recipies.  Is it possible to do this or do I haves to deal with endless scrolling on my hub Max?  One would think a search engine company would be able to search their own collections...

Still can't ask to search my cookbook.  When I ask to search it just returns results from the web...so endless scrolling to find what I want

Hey ShawnaldDuck34,

I am sorry to hear you are still having trouble getting your saved cookbook to show. I know this is not ideal, and I did find a helpful article with more details. Please let me know if that helps, or if you have any questions from here.

Best regards,

Jake

That isn't the issue.  The problem is that I can't ask it to search recipies that are in my cookbook....all it does is return items from the web.  For example, I have a recipe for a Black Cod dish that I made, loved, and stored in my cookbook.  When I asked to search my cookbook for black cod recipes, I get a ton of results from the web, but I want the one in my cookbook.  So I have to open the cookbook and scroll through hundreds of recipes that I saved to find it.

Hey ShawnaldDuck34,

If you want to browse recipes or have a specific recipe in mind, you can search for a recipe on your phone or tablet and send it to your speaker or display. Please be aware that not all recipes are available to use on your display. Make sure the Google Account signed into your mobile phone or tablet browser is the same account used to link to your speaker or display.  Do you mind me asking if you are seeing a search bar? Please let me know, as I would be happy to review further.

Best regards,

Jake

The problem is I have done that hundreds of times and now my cookbook is huge and there is no way to search it...it just searches the web which I have already done in order to add it to the cookbook in the first place.  I'd like to be able to say Hey Google, search my cookbook for X and have it only search the cookbook, not every recipe in the entire world for X.  I already found the one I want on the web, but to find it in my cookbook, I have to endlessly scroll.
