Hi @Edgararc!

Thanks for posting in the community.
I’m sorry for the inconveniences that you’ve been experiencing with your Nest Hub Max. I can see that you just bought the device from someone that was using it before. However, when trying to set it up in your home, you noticed that it may still be connected to the previous account, and it’s also not connecting to the network. You have tried factory resetting the device, but it won’t respond. Let’s solve this together.

To better assist you, I need some extra information. Here are some questions for you:

  • How far is the device from the WiFi router during the setup?
  • Are there devices that could be creating interference between the WiFi router and the Nest Hub Max?
  • Do you have another available WiFi network with a similar name?
  • What is the software version of your Nest Hub Max?
  • Do you see any message that indicates that the device is still connected to another account?

It would be really great if you shared a picture of the volume button of your Nest Hub Max.

In the meantime, I will suggest you try one more time to factory reset your the device and connect it to a mobile hotspot. You can use a different phone and activate the mobile hotspot there, and then you can connect the device to this network. If the device connects to the mobile hotspot but is still not connecting to the WiFi router, then you will need to contact your internet service provider to disable access point or client isolation in your router.

Tell me how it goes.

Regards,

Daniel.
