Set an alarm on one device (google mini), that works on another google mini, in another room

Headline says it all.

Currently when you set an alarm it only works on the Mini you set the alarm at.

I'd like it to work on both mini's

Is that possible, just by voice?

Oh, maybe I should mention the wakeup time changes everday. That's why I need to be able to set both units, by one voice command.

You could set up Home Assistant to monitor all google homes' alarms and when one fires play music on the others. That will need some setting up though. Depends how much you want it 🙂

Hi @Carmark,

Thanks for reaching out to the community! I understand you're concerned about setting an alarm on your speaker device in one room and having it also sound in another, especially since your wake-up time changes daily. I can definitely help you with this!

Currently, when you set an alarm with Google Assistant, it will only sound on the specific device you used. It's not possible to set a single alarm that goes off on multiple devices in different rooms with just a voice command.

To have the alarm go off in both rooms, you'd need to set a separate alarm on each device. We know this would be a helpful feature, and we deeply appreciate you sharing your feedback, as it helps us continue to improve our products and meet your needs.

I appreciate your input, @Neil666.

Keep me posted.

Best regards,

Jenniffer
