Setting Device to UTC

DDIndy

I need to display the clock in UTC time.  To do this, I tried setting the address to Greenwich, London, UK, but when daylight savings hits, it moves an hour off of true UTC time.  Any solution?

This is on a Lenovo Smart Clock, but the same issue is on my Google Home display.

TIA...Dave

Google Nest simply does not provide us with any way to specify a timezone for our Google Nest devices or for Google Assistant. All we can do is specify an address or location, and Google Nest then retrieves the timezone from its address.

(And if Google Nest's database has the wrong timezone for your address, you are out of luck. I've seen a number of posts over the last couple of years in this forum from customers trying--and failing--to get Google Nest to even acknowledge, much less correct such errors.)
