I purchased a Google nest mini v2 which is available at Daraz online store, BD.
I have watched several youTube videos made by local YouTubers. Today, I spend almost all the day setting it up, however at the end of the process, it said-
"The update is taking longer than expected.."
Then it does nothing.
I have reset the device > 10 times and tried on several other wifi/mobile data enabled routers, but the result is the same.
Finally, I contacted Google support and they said, this device might not work in your country.
It's frustrating that Google assistant is working on BD. We're using smart IOTs and controlling them using google assistant from phones.
I wonder how the YouTubers made those videos and how the online shops are selling?
I wish there's a way or hack, to work it out. I want the device to work.
Not feel right to return it to the seller.
Can anyone help with this issue? any idea/help on what can be done?

Hey Dr-Tanzil,
Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the trouble this has caused you.
This may not be the answer you're looking for, since Google Nest devices are not officially launched in your country there's a chance that it may not work properly because of some restrictions. Have you tried setting it up using your phone's mobile data to see if that works. If it connects with your phone's mobile data, try coordinating with your Internet Service Provider or router manufacturer to check your router settings. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
Keep me posted!
Best,
Alex
