For the longest time, when I would ask my nest mini or my nest hub, or even the Google assistant on my phone to create a calendar event in my Google calendar, it kept telling me " something went wrong I wasn't able to make your event. Try again in a few seconds"
I fix this by going on my phone, activating the Google assistant, and saying "assistant settings".
Once the assistant settings popped up, I scroll down to calendar, and made sure the default calendar for making events was the one I wanted. Apparently at some point the default calendar switch to one that is no longer an existence and that's what caused the error.
Once I switched the default to a current calendar, it fixed the problem on all my Google assistant devices. Phone, next mini , and nest hub.
It took me a while to find the solution, so I'm posting it here. Hopefully those who need it will find it.
