Songs are playing with no sound when casting from Spotify to Chromecast (TV & Audio)

I have a pretty specific and strange issue. When casting a playlist from Spotify to Chromecast Audio or TV, the first track plays fine the next track plays on the app but there is no audio coming out from the speakers. If I skip manually to the next track I can hear it again in my speakers. I already tried rebooting and resetting Chromecast and Google Home. The problem is persistent from multiple Spotify accounts (both Free and Premium) and on multiple casting devices. Reinstalling the apps also didn't work. Resetting to factory settings didn't work. Changing the Wi-Fi network didn't work. Casting to Chromecast TV didn't work, but casting to Chromecast built-in (on my JBL Playlist) works fine.  I can also mention I've been using Spotify on these devices for years and never had an issue. The issue started one day all of a sudden without any clear reason or change in how I use Spotify or the devices. A complete support session with Spotify didn't help and after all their solutions failed they directed me back to Google.
Please help - I'm running out of ideas....

Thanks for sharing details about the issue here. I know how challenging it is when you're having issues playing music on your speaker group. To confirm, are you able to play that specific song on your speaker group? Are you able to cast it in the group? Does the same issue happen when you use the Google Assistant app on your phone?
