To anyone else out there with a Sonos system and Google home, are you as frustrated as I am!?
I switched from Amazon echo to Google home with the promise from a tech savvy friend that I'd be able to control my everything including Sonos through Google Hub Max, so I made the switch but am regretting it.
No Sonos app on Google hub. Spotify app only sees Google devices. No matter what I do (factory reset Sonos, uninstall, disconnect/reconnect, set up new home, add device, redo add speaker groups, update apps), I can't get the Google Hub to play through my Sonos speakers and end up just using my phone to control my Sonos system which defeats the purpose of other household members having ability to control music on the Google hub.
Honestly the Echo was easier to use and integrate with all home devices. Google hub is only a nice photo display and video chat.
Is there something I'm missing?

Hi Techw1tch,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.
I’m sorry for the trouble this has caused you. I totally understand that these are good features to use from your Nest Hub Max to your Sonos speaker, but, this feature is not yet available. I'd suggest you submit feedback about it, here's how.
Let us know if you have other questions and concerns otherwise, we will be locking this thread after 24 hours.
Regards,
Juni
