Hello,
I have been using Google Speakers for over a decade, and I've integrated their automation features throughout my home and office. I have multiple speakers placed in various locations, which I use to create Speaker Groups for playing music. Recently, however, I've encountered two major issues:
1. When I attempt to play music on a group, only one speaker plays the music.
2. When I try to delete and create a new speaker group, the group briefly appears in my Home app before disappearing. Subsequently, when I attempt to create another group, the same issue occurs. Additionally, when I check the group memberships of individual speakers, they show they belong to multiple groups that have disappeared as described.
I consider myself quite tech-savvy and have tried numerous troubleshooting steps, including resetting every device, removing and re-adding groups, resetting my entire internet connection, and even purchasing a new router. I have also contacted Google Support and had multiple phone conversations with them.
If anyone can provide a solution, I would be extremely grateful.
Thank you!

Hi @WelnoxStudio,
Thanks for reaching out to the community forum. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble playing music on your speaker group. I understand how frustrating it can be when a device doesn't function as expected, especially after troubleshooting steps. Don't worry, I'm here to help!
Since you've already tried several troubleshooting steps without success, I won't recommend repeating them. We've escalated the issue to the appropriate team for further investigation. You can also help by providing feedback through the method available in the Home app. You can check more information on this thread: Having trouble with Speaker groups? Read this first.
If you have any questions or concerns in the future, feel free to reply to this post.
Cheers,
Jonathan
