Speaker Pair doesn’t appear when I try to pair my nest audio speakers

When trying to pair my nest audio speakers, the speaker pair option doesn’t appear when I tap on speaker, then settings. Both speakers are setup in the same room. What can I do to fix this?

Hey folks,

Thanks for sharing details about the issue here. I know how challenging it can be when you can't pair your devices. A few questions - is this the first-time that you're pairing your device? Are you using a dual-band router? Are you able to create an audio group?

Below are the things that you can try:

  1. Make sure that mobile data is off on your phone.
  2. Move your Google Nest Audio within 15-20 ft. away from the router to get enough signal from your network.
  3. Reboot your Google Nest devices and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals.
  4. Check if you can create a speaker group and try to play music to confirm.
  5. Delete the stereo group, then try to pair your devices.

Let us know how it goes.

Cheers,

Muddi
